Our friends at Friends of Rabbits in Virginia sent us these links.
On a recent episode of Martha Stewart’s show, Martha talked to Marc Morrone about pet rabbits. In their interview, they mention the House Rabbit Society and encourage people not to put bunnies in Easter baskets. At the end of the show she gives chocolate bunnies to everyone in the audience (I’m sorry if I spoiled the ending) ala Make Mine Chocolate.

As you may (or may not) have noticed, we made quite a few changes to our site. We are not completely finished but the majority of the work is done. One of the biggest changes that is not visible is that we changed web hosts and our new host is carbon neutral!

Today I added several bunny photos to our photo gallery and 1 to our memorial gallery. We have not yet changed the sort order, so all of the newest photos end up on the last page(s).
We also added several items in the last few days in several categories. To help us keep track of new items, we added a new category called ‘New Items’ (we are very creative with our category names, huh?).
I am turning on the Comments feature for this post and may turn them on for the whole Blog. Please let us know what you think of the Blog, our new site, etc.
On a completely unrelated note, Lisa and I decided that we are going to walk the entire Bay Trail a few miles at a time. Today we covered about 4 miles - when added to the portions we have already walked, we have completed about 0.1% of the entire trail!

Paul, my husband and long-suffering webmaster - and IT Department, Marketing Department, Catalog Production Department, ad nauseum - convinced me to hire some outside help and create a new site (Full Disclosure: Paul is writing this but Lisa will edit it). We lucked upon Nicole at Neek Design who created this amazingly cool site through which you are navigating.
We tried to keep the fun and silly look-and-feel of our old site while embracing new (and scary) technologies. The In Memoriam and photo galleries are being manually migrated to their new home; if you do not see your pictures please let us know. We have everything backed up in multiple locations and will not get rid of the old files.
Let us know what you think - good or bad. We want to use this space to communicate with everyone, but aren’t quite sure where it will go - send us your thoughts and ideas.
